Preventative Maintenance Tech needed in Kennesaw at a metals manufacturing facility.
Monday-Friday with the occasional Saturday, 6:45am-3:30pm
$16/hr
Essential duties/responsibilities:
- Properly implements preventive maintenance systems for all equipment
- Executes predictive and preventive maintenance for all equipment
- Inspects or tests damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs
- Lubricates or applies other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures
- Cleans or lubricates vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Installs, replaces, or changes machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications
- Records production, repair, and machine maintenance information
- Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance
- Inspects eye-wash stations and fire extinguishers
- Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment
- Cleans work area, tools, machines and equipment
- Work overtime and weekends, as needed
