Metals manufacturing facility in Douglasville is in need of an experienced Paint Technician.
This position is temp-to-hire, via Rock Staffing.
Located in Douglasville, GA. The shift is Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm with the occasional Saturday.
Pay rate is $18+/hr, depending on experience/interview.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Mask and protect parts that are not to be painted
- Mix paint according to specifications
- Select and mix coating liquid to produce requested color
- Maintain and wear all required safety and PPE
- Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials
- Inspect painted units for quality of workmanship - noting any inaccuracies
- Cooperate and assist with personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
Work environment is warehouse/mechanics shop. Any interested candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, squat, push/pull, stand, etc.
