Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. May also install and maintain electronic controls for various machines. May also connect wire to circuit breakers, transformers or other components. Checks circuits for proper connections, ensuring electrical compatibility and safety of components. Current knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Must rely on verbal and written instructions and pre‐established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. This position requires someone who is reliable, on time and comes to work every day. Must have own tools— including fluke test meter, drill, wire cutters, etc.
Facility is located in Kennesaw, GA.
Temp-to-hire or possibly direct-hire via Rock Staffing.
Pay is depending on experience/interview, $20+.
Shift is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Required: High school diploma with at 1-2 years’ experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role
- experience in relevant electrical and/mechanical role
- Experience maintaining a light industry production operation
- Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) and mechanical skills
- Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
- Familiarity with control technology (controls/inverters)
- Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
- Ability to work in team environment
• Must be able to work all shifts when an electrical or mechanical problem arises and needs to be resolved.
• Must be able to work on call 24 hr. if unscheduled electrical problems need to be resolved.
