Service Porter Needed in Lithia Springs
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-6pm.
Pay: $14/hour.
Duties to include…
- Ensure parking lot is clean each morning, picking up any debris and weeds. Continue to monitor the parking lot throughout the day.
- Ensure trash in all departments is taken out daily before leaving. Remove trash during the day as needed.
- Continually monitor the service department for any debris, spilled chemicals, or units that need to be moved back into the service lanes.
- Wash any units that have services completed as soon as you see them in the wash bay.
- Assist customers at their direction in unloading/loading units into their vehicles or onto trailers.
- Occasional operation of forklift.
- Assist service techs in staging units for their upcoming jobs.
- Assist service advisors in getting maintenance parts from the parts department, ensuring that these parts are correct.
- Continually clean doors, floors, restrooms, and customer’s units.
- Wipe down vehicles or wash as needed when service is completed.
- Etc.
Requirements
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- Valid Driver’s License
- Professional appearance and hygiene.
Must be able to withstand hours of standing/walking, interact with customers and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., and frequently push up to 100 lbs.
